libsaml2-dev software package provides Security Assertion Markup Language library (development), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libsaml2-dev
libsaml2-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libsaml2-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libsaml2-dev *
You will get with libsaml2-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
